The reason behind this is because tea has flavonoids that causes dilation of the blood vessels as well as the proper oxidation of LDL cholesterol.

A person’s metabolism is increased when drinking tea because it contains polyphenols and caffeine and makes insulin uptake efficient. It is also because of this why it promotes weight loss by increasing the fat oxidation rate of the body.
