And when it occurs, we cannot absorb the nutrients our body needs. People with this disease will commonly suffer from vitamin D deficiency.

Colitis and Crohn’s Disease

If you suffer from this disease, you will suffer diarrhea, and consequently, it causes vitamin deficiency.


Don’t spend times too long in the sun when you have this disease, and surely this disease causes also vitamin deficiency.


You should get your blood tested to measure whether you are suffering the deficiency or not. There are three treatments recommended by many experts to treat vitamin D deficiency: supplementation, artificial UV B, and sunlight.
